Collection and use of personal data

Categories of personal data

Personal data in our platforms includes driver information, vehicle data, telematics data (including periodic location data, driving behaviour modelling and accident event data), insurance policy information and links between these data types. Storage of personal data
Data is held within an industry-leading security-certified Tier 1 data centre and cloud infrastructure provider located within the European Economic Area (EEA) with the highest levels of security, data confidentiality, integrity and availability. Full details of the provider (including its security certifications) are available on request. For EU Customers and/or Data Subjects, we do not store personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Data security
We protect your personal data by means of appropriate technical and organisational security measures and store it solely on our secure servers. Your personal data is secured against loss, destruction and manipulation and against access, modification or distribution by unauthorised persons by means of industry-standard measures in accordance with the state of the art. Sensitive data is encrypted both during transmission over the Internet and at rest when it is stored in our system and databases.
Disclosure to third parties
In order to meet the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we may disclose personal data to other entities within our group of companies, as well as to subcontractors and service providers who assist us in connection with the ways we use personal information (for instance, providing support). Scope México observa los principios de confidencialidad, licitud, consentimiento, información, calidad, finalidad, lealtad, proporcionalidad y responsabilidad en la protección de los Datos.
Los Datos serán tratados de conformidad con la Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (la “Ley”) y su correspondiente Reglamento. Scope México, de conformidad con el artículo 14 de la Ley, velará por el cumplimiento de los principios de protección de los Datos, aún y cuando estos datos fueren tratados por un tercero a solicitud del Responsable.

IV. Medios para ejercer los Derechos de Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación y Oposición (Derechos ARCO)
¿Cómo puede acceder, rectificar o cancelar sus datos personales, u oponerse a su uso?
Usted tiene derecho a conocer qué datos personales tenemos de usted, para qué los utilizamos y las condiciones del uso que les damos (Acceso). Asimismo, es su derecho solicitar la corrección de su información personal en caso de que esté desactualizada, sea inexacta o incompleta (Rectificación); que la eliminemos de nuestros registros o bases de datos cuando considere que la misma no está siendo utilizada conforme a los principios, deberes y obligaciones previstas en la normativa (Cancelación); así como oponerse al uso de sus datos personales para fines específicos (Oposición). La solicitud de acceso, rectificación, cancelación u oposición deberáì contener y estar acompañada de al menos lo siguiente:

Revocación del consentimiento para el uso de sus datos personales
Los titulares de los Datos pueden revocar el consentimiento que, en su caso, haya otorgado a Scope México para el tratamiento de sus datos personales. Sin embargo, es importante que tengan en cuenta que no en todos los casos Scope México podrá atender su solicitud o concluir el uso de forma inmediata, ya que es posible que por alguna obligación legal Scope México requiera seguir tratando sus datos personales. Asimismo, los titulares de los Datos deberán considerar que para ciertos fines, la revocación de su consentimiento implicará que Scope México no pueda seguir prestando el servicio que se solicitó, o la conclusión de la relación con Scope México.
